Our Wedding

Cody and Melissa met online during the pandemic that took over the world. One of the very first conversations happened while Melissa was out buying nursing shoes and Cody asked if she was going to get neon pink ones! Their conversations took them to meeting up at Toast. It was a late night after Melissa worked a 12 hour day. The rest is history. 	That summer was one of the first time Melissa was introduced to Drag Racing! This first weekend of racing started the fun adventures of helping Cody each weekend. One of the first out of state adventures they took was to Topeka where Cody introduced Melissa to Pro Drag Racing. Not only has Cody shown Melissa the drag racing world. Melissa has introduced Cody to her love of Penguins and the Omaha Zoo! Each summer they have taken road trips to Colorado where their love of the mountains has helped build their relationship. 	Last summer Cody surprised Melissa with a road trip down to Kansas. Melissa thought she was going to Kansas City, however Cody tricked Melissa and they ended up heading not the direction of KC. They ended up in Godard Kansas where Melissa to her surprise got to swim with penguins! Cody the whole time Melissa was cooling off from the heat with the penguins, he was sweating under the heat of the day and the heat of mastering his end plan. Cody's end plan was proposing with the help of the Penguins! Melissa was over excited when Cody popped the question! Their guests will find themself sitting amongst decorations that include both Melissa and Cody's favorite hobbies: Cars and Penguins!!

Lindsey came into Melissa's life back in 2019 as coworker at Madonna. Lindsey likes to remind Melissa that she told her she didn't like her when they first met. You can clearly tell they have a lasting friendship and there are no dislikes here lol Melissa will frequently call Lindsey her work wife! If you don't find them at work together you will find them at Disney or Round one!

Carolyn aka Roomie came into Melissa's life in 2013 as a random picking for a roommate at College of Saint Mary's. Melissa couldn't have asked for a better person to share the four years of nursing school together. With that they would find them self's going on DQ late night runs while studying or jamming out to music. Melissa recently celebrated Carolyn's wedding in Cancun.

Livi has been in Melissa's life since 1999. They met on the first day of kindergarten and have been besties every since. One of their greatest memories they both like to bring up is the first every sleepover. Livi stayed at Melissas house and that night they couldn't figure out the tv so they played in the dark. Its a fond memory for both. Although life keeps both of them busy they always find time to get together, even if its been a great length once they come together its like no time has passed. Melissa was there for Livi's marriage to Thomas and now Livi will be there for Melissa's Marriage to Cody.

Tim and Cody went to daycare and k-12 together.  Their parents said that we needed to rub off on each other.  Tim knew how to have fun and Cody didn't mind studying.  We learned a lot from each other and had a lot of fun.  A few concussions and a broken nose were side effects of the fun.

Cody and Aaron went to college at UNL together.  We spent many late nights studying for exams and completed senior design together.  When we were told our senior design project was going to be portable enema device we laughed in front of the nurses at Madonna.  Turned out to be a fun and exciting project (that never had to be tested by one of us....).

Blake and Cody were roommates during college.  Blake has a great sense of humor.

Eric is Melissa's one and only big brother. While growing up in High School Melissa was only known around Scotus as Eric's little sister!!

Jeremy and Cody have worked together for a few years now.  One day Cody gave Jeremy a ride to get a starter and Jeremy's feet got wet in the car.  So Cody and Jeremy gutted the interior of the car, assuming the heater core went out, only to find out that the window leaked (half the carpet is still missing)....

Cody and Jacob were roommates in college.  Cody realized how much of a husker fan Jacob was when the first game they went to he had red and white overalls and a huge foam cowboy hat on.  They didn't miss too many husker games together!

Tif is Melissa's amazing sister in law. Vanessa is Melissa's amazing cousin!! They will be there on the wedding day to keep both Melissa and Cody  from stressing out!! LOL Mostly Melissa!!!
