Q + A

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP via our website link by 12-1-2024

What airport is closest to your venue?

Both Chicago Midway International Airport and O'hare International Airport have access by train to downtown Chicago. From Midway take the orange line to Washington/Wabash and from O'hare take the blue line to Washington. Taxi's and Uber are also readily available.

Is parking available at the venue?

The hotel offers valet parking for the duration of your stay. A more cost effective option would be to use the Spot Hero app to book a nearby spot in a parking garage.

Will shuttles or additional transportation be offered?

Since the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and after party will all be held within the ballrooms and event spaces of the Chicago Athletic Association hotel, no additional transportation will be needed or offered.

What is the dress code?

Cocktail attire is our preferred dress code.

What food and beverage will be served?

One of the great offerings of our venue is that all guests will have the flexibility to order from a generous pre-fix menu at the time of the event. Dinner will include an appetizer, soup, salad and entree of each guests choice. A full bar with wine, beer and spirits will be offered for the duration of the event. Special accommodations are available for children under 12.

What dates is the room block available for booking?

The room block is available Thursday 1/30-Monday 2/3. Please let us know if rooms are no longer available as the hotel can increase rooms in our block based on availability.

Are children invited?

Yes! We have children... we understand you have children. Invites for households with kids includes the kids. Want an adults only weekend? No judgement here! We just want to give the option to include your kiddos.

Is there an after party?

Yes! The venue, originally a gentleman's club, has thoughtfully curated spaces for after hours fun! We are still discussing options for late night snacking, but who isn't happy with delicious tacos and guac!

Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding?

We ask that you refrain from any personal photography during our ceremony. We will have a photographer capturing our moments and will be happy to share her work with any guests interested in acquiring pictures. During our cocktail hour, reception and after party feel free to take all of the candid shots that you would like. Even better, share some of this with us!

Where should I sit?

During the ceremony you may sit wherever you feel most comfortable. Dinner seating will be assigned.

Can I bring a plus one?

We want everyone invited to enjoy our celebration to its fullest. This includes welcoming your plus-one guest. Please include the full name of your guest on your RSVP.
