Our Wedding

Gio and Melissa both have a love for country music. When the world was shutting down in 2020 the country community was creating their own dancing country bar. They called them Parking Lot Parties and that's where they officially met. They had mutual friends and began hanging out and dancing more and more each week they'd go.

They started going on group hikes, brunches, billiard night, etc. Gio asked a group of friends to go eat and of course Melissa was down. They couldn't decide where and ended up at Olive Garden at 11am and still joke about it today. That was their unofficial official first date. From then on they grew closer and the connection got stronger. Gio asked Melissa officially to be together on April 4, 2021. After some time Gio was ready for Melissa to meet his beautiful twin daughters. She loved them and when she got to see how much of an amazing dad he was to them, she knew she found someone special.

Together they've grown as individuals and a couple. They have gone through struggles and high points, but they've started growing a life together doing things they love; creating memories, exploring new places, making fun of each other, and hanging out with their friends they call family. On one of these adventures they found themselves taking a cruise to Mexico where Gio decided to take a knee and propose to Melissa on a beach. They are so excited to continue their story, grow together, stronger, and make a lifetime of memories!

Zshelby and Melissa are each other s ride or die. Together since birth they were doing everything together. Whether it was ballet, gymnastics,or taking cruises they always have a blast together. Melissa couldn’t ask for a better cousin to have in her life. She is so grateful for Zshelby and couldn’t think of anyone else she would want right by her side on this day. 

Zshelby 

Melissa and Catlyns friendship started with their other half’s starting a bromance. Their men quickly became best friends which led them to follow. Catlyn and Melissa are chaos when together but in the best way possible. Catlyn is one of Melissa’s best friends and wouldn’t change it for the world.

Catlyn 

Melissa and Eryanne met when the world was shut down in 2020 but their friendship came alive. Always being dorks together whether it’s on the dance floor or out and about in public. They know they are just a phone call away when they need each other. Melissa is grateful for their friendship and wouldn’t have it any other way.

Eryanne

Gio and Justin’s bromance grew close and fast. They bonded over anime, cigars, and dumb jokes. Gio cherishes Justin’s friendship and couldn’t ask for a better best man. They both have each other’s back and wouldn’t have it any other way. 

Justin 

Gio and Lee met each other at work. They would joke around and talk more and more with each other and this created a friendship they wouldn’t trade for anything. Between playing Call of Duty all night, going to cigar lounges, lake days, and much more they have a brothers bond like no others. Gio loves his friendship with Lee and considers Lee family. 

James and Gio friendship began at work. They started hanging out and bonding over guns, games, and joking around. Although they haven’t known each other for a long time they became close. James is like a brother to a Gio and cherishes their friendship.

Between the Ceremony and Reception guests will have about an hour and a half. The reception is in a casino so you could go try your luck. Run home to grab something you forgot? Just take your time getting to the second location and just hang out 💕
