Jacob and I were both new to the online dating scene in Indianapolis, Indiana. We were both just swiping early 2021 -- looking for something real, something that would stick. Little did we know, a simple message would be the beginning of the rest of our lives. It was a cheesy opening line, something about my jean jacket. But hey, it worked! We laughed, we bonded over silly memes, and our connection grew with every conversation.There were awkward first dates, inside jokes we’d only get, and the kind of conversations that made us think, "I could really see myself with this person." We’d talk about everything — from favorite movies to where we’d want to travel together, to the little things that made us tick. But most importantly, we always made each other smile.Fast-forward to our first BIG trip together to Italy. Something about being away from home, exploring new places, and being there for each other… we knew we were something special.

Is There A Dress Code?

Yes! We want everyone dressed their best for our special day. We request a formal attire for our wedding. For ladies, a dress below the knee or floor length. For gentlemen, a suit jacket will be required. Please do not wear jeans or any other casual attire. You can wear any color you like, but we kindly request you do not wear white or any similar color.

What will the weather be like?

June is the start of summer in Italy, bringing warm and sunny weather across the country. The average temperatures range from 20°C to 28°C (68°F to 82°F), making it perfect for outdoor activities and sightseeing. However, it’s essential to pack light clothing, sunscreen, and sunglasses to stay comfortable in the summer heat.

How should I get there?

We’re so excited to share that our wedding will be a destination celebration, and we completely understand that this is a big ask. We know traveling for a wedding can be a significant commitment, and we truly appreciate the effort and time it may take to join us. Can I bring my kids?

We want our wedding to be a joyful celebration for everyone, and we plan to party into the night! So while your children are welcome to attend, festivities are definitely geared towards adults; so you might prefer to arrange childcare.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Both! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside. Reception will be indoors.
