We met the old fashioned way, on Tinder. To be fair this was one of the only dating apps during this time.

All jokes aside, we met in the fall of 2017 at Central Michigan University. We went on our first date and after some conversation, we realized we lived on the same floor our freshman year of college. We always say we must have run into each other, but we just weren't ready to meet our person just yet.

Mitch moved to Grand Rapids after graduation, and I moved the year after. We've been through many adventures since then.

Mitch proposed during a U.P. trip we had been planning for months. He officially popped the question on his family property on Drummond Island. He even tried to surprise me with both of our families driving up to Mackinac Island to celebrate our engagement.
