Q + A

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is formal/semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies can wear dresses, dress slacks, etc, and the gentlemen can wear a suit and tie, a sports coat, dress shirt and slacks or nice jeans, etc. But most importantly, we just want you to be comfortable!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

The weather is usually pretty hot in August, but the wedding and reception will both be indoors in the air conditioning. Ladies: You may want to bring a sweater or jacket in case it gets too cool.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Both the ceremony and reception are at the same location at The Chanhassen Dinner Theatre!

What happens after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, the bridal party along with their families, will be taking pictures on stage and nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the holding room nearby, or the bar for cocktail hour.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

You will surely be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please still let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “No,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend that you arrive no sooner than a half hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

There will be ample parking in the lot in front of the Dinner Theatre and additional parking on the side in the Southwest Transit parking ramp right next to the Dinner Theatre. Parking is Free!

Are kids welcome?

Absolutely! We can't wait to share our special day with all of our family and friends! Just be sure to note how many kids are coming on the RSVP, so we know how many kids meals to order.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Please see the Hotel Reservations tab on our website to find the nearest Hotels, there are 2 very close by, less than 1 mile away! We did reserve a block of rooms at each of the Hotels. Please contact the hotels directly if you have any questions or issues with your reservation. The rooms are under "Hochman Wedding" for reservations at a discounted rate.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

We would like to see all RSVP's to us no later than June 15th, 2022. You can either mail back the RSVP card that was sent to you in mail, or you may also RSVP right here on our website.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

You will be served amazing food at the reception! Please make sure to check which option you want to go with when you RSVP. There are 2 different options to choose from, Chicken Chanhassen & Steak. Kids will receive the chicken tender meal. There will be free water, coffee, and tea. There will be a cash bar set up for Cocktail hour and all through the night.

Where are you registered?

We decided not to register anywhere and that we would rather have monetary gifts to go towards our Honeymoon! We appreciate any amount, and Thank You in advance!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures to our Facebook page, our only request is that you tag Gregory and Melissa to each photo with our wedding hashtag-- #YouHadMeAtHochman, so we can keep track of all of the pictures!

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?
