Jack and Melissa first met online on a dating website called “Hinge” during the last week of April 2023. After about a week, Jack asked Melissa out on a date. Their first date was at Croxley’s Ale House in RVC. They were both so nervous but so excited to finally meet. They enjoyed apps and drinks. The conversation was effortless and two and a half hours later, the date was over. But that was the first of many dates.

The second date was a big date. Jack and Melissa shared lots more personal information. They went out to eat and went to the movies.

The third date, the two lovebirds went for dinner and had a walk at Point Lookout Clam bar. That night, Jack asked Melissa to be his girlfriend. Soon after that, Jack met the important people in Melissa’s life and vice versa. Everyone in their lives loved the counterpart because of what the couple had brought out of each other.

So many memories were made along the way. They loved going on vacations, going to plays, going to the beach, and spending quality time together. After about 9 months of dating, they moved in together! This really helped the couple bond and get to know each other on a deeper level. They got to be there for each other in the good days and on the bad days.

On May 4th 2025, Jack took Melissa back to where it all started. Where they spent their first anniversary together and where he first asked Melissa to be his girlfriend. With family nearby, he got on one knee and proposed. It was magical! And now the love story continues. They look forward to wedding planning and the big day. But most importantly, celebrating their love with people that they love most.
