Jeremy & Melissa met on the first day of pharmacy school.

On the first day of classes everyone was asked to share an interesting fact, and Jeremy & Melissa realized they actually had the same one - they were both twins!

Because Jeremy's last name is Key and Melissa's is Kieley, due to alphabetical order they ended up next to each other in their first year pharmacy labs and even as lab partners. They came to know each other quite well and eventually Jeremy asked Melissa out on a date.

They had their first date at Yellowbelly brewery - which is one of the reasons they chose Yellowbelly as their wedding venue. They officially started dating in February 2018 & have been together ever since.

In July 2022, Jeremy & Melissa made plans to go out and celebrate them both passing their pharmacy licensing exam and finishing their first full week as pharmacists. They went out to supper downtown and then went to Tinkers in Petty Harbour to get ice cream.

They sat by the water to take in the views and then Jeremy got down on one knee and asked Melissa to marry him. The rest is history!
