Juan and I have known each other for quite a few years, however I never knew that one day we would be saying I do! I have been around the family for quite some time and the summer that I came back from my freshmen year of college, Juan decided to pursue and ask me out. At first, I thought that Juan was just a friend. However, over time of hanging out and talking every night for hours on end, I started to feel something more for him and him for me. He finally asked me, "What is it going to take to make you my girl?" This question struck me and through me for a loop as the typical question is "Will you be my girlfriend?". I knew I had to make a decision and I realized I would take a risk. He treated me with the utmost respect, he took lots of time out of his day to talk whenever I needed too and he never made me feel anything less than someone he adored. :) I loved the way he made me smile and laugh and how we got along so well which is why I ended up falling for him. It was the best decision of my life to say "Yes." And five years later, here we are getting married. Juan is my soulmate. Sure, we have our ups and downs, but who doesn't? That's all part of a typical love story. And I would not change ours for anything in the world. He loves me for me and I love him unconditionally.
