Melissa and Andrew met through mutual friends (hey Liz and Dylan!) back in 2014 at a party in Halifax. Andrew spent most of the evening mustering up the courage to introduce himself, and ended up intercepting Melissa on her way out of the party to ask her out for dinner.

They went to none other than a burger place (Andrew's favourite food) where, happily for Andrew, Melissa talked the entire time.

Since then, Melissa and Andrew have lived together in 3 different provinces (Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and Ontario), completed multiple degrees, and have landed back in Nova Scotia.

Andrew FINALLY proposed to Melissa in front of the building where they had first met at that party....... 8 years later.

The wedding will be held almost 10 years to the day that we met, and we are beyond excited to celebrate with you all!
