I met Krystal through our sorority in college. What started as casual conversations turned into a bond that shaped both of our lives. We once swore off marriage and kids — just two girls joking about staying single forever. But life had other plans, and now here we are, joyfully eating our words. Through every high and low, we’ve leaned on each other. We grew up together — not just in age, but as women navigating adulthood, heartbreak, career changes, and everything in between. She’s been my rock, my sounding board, and my reminder that friendship can be one of the most enduring loves of all. I’m so lucky to have her standing by my side on this day.

I want to take a moment to talk about my best man, Chris. We met back in college through our mutual friend Alyssa, and from the very start, it was incredibly easy to hang out and become instant friends. His fantastic personality and our mutual love of baseball helped us connect quickly and deeply. I was lucky enough to live with him in Santa Cruz, and those years only brought us closer, filled with memories, laughter, and countless goofy conversations. Chris has always been someone who brings joy and authenticity to every moment, and I feel incredibly grateful to have him by my side—not just today, but as a true friend for life. Lysette is my best friend and lifelong confidant — my person in every way. We met when we were 11 and 12, when our parents started dating, but she has never felt like a stepsister. From day one, she’s just been my big sister — the one who takes care of me, makes me laugh until I cry, and brings so much joy into my life. She is, without a doubt, the most social person I have ever met. She loves people, and she compliments strangers like it’s her superpower — and honestly, it kind of is. Her radiant personality lights up every room she walks into, and people are naturally drawn to her. Everyone thinks they’re her best friend... but I know the truth: she’s mine for life. Lysette has been by my side through everything, and I truly can’t imagine life — or this day — without her.

I am so fortunate to be able to say that Anthony will soon be my brother. From the moment I met him, I could tell he was a down-to-earth guy. He is supportive, kind, and someone who clearly loves his family deeply. He’s easy to talk to and someone I know I can always depend on. Every time we spend time together, it feels like we’ve been brothers from the start. I can’t wait to officially become part of the family, and I’m truly grateful to have Anthony standing beside me on this exciting day.

Maya and I met in college, where we balanced wild nights with 3 a.m. library cram sessions for finals. She’s always down for a good time. Even though she’s allergic to all my animals, she still comes over to visit frequently anyway. Maya has seen me through some of the more challenging parts of my life and helped me bounce back every single time. One of our favorite things is our shared love of Disney — we’re basically Disney theme park partners for life, always planning our next magical vacation together. Even though she’s in San Diego, we keep the friendship strong. And whenever we get together, it’s like no time has passed — just pure fun and laughter. She’s one of my longest-standing friends and knows all my quirks. I’m so lucky to have her standing by my side on this big day.

Victor and I have been friends since middle school, and I feel incredibly lucky to have had him in my life for so many years. Growing up, I had the privilege of spending a lot of time with him and his family, and I knew then that he would be the brother I never had—for life. Victor is one of the most hardworking, dedicated, and loyal people I’ve ever met, qualities that have always stood out and continue to inspire me. Having him up there next to me on such a special day means the world, and I couldn’t be more grateful for his friendship and support.

I met Brit through my fiancé, Joseph, and we quickly became fast friends. She’s one of the kindest, most nonjudgmental people I know — the kind of friend who just gets you. We bonded instantly over our shared love of Disney, which became a fun thread in our friendship alongside all the laughs and stories. For a long time, we spent nearly every weekend together in Santa Cruz, making memories and sharing joy. When Brit moved to Pasadena to be with her husband, it was a hard transition for both of us, but we’ve made it a priority to see each other as much as possible. Even miles apart, she always fills my cup with so much love and happiness — and I couldn’t imagine celebrating this special day without her by my side.

Cody and I met on my first day at CSUMB, and I got incredibly lucky that my then-neighbor across the living room would become one of my best and closest friends. Through our shared love of video games, music, and our similarly goofy personalities, our bond quickly grew. Cody is an energetic and loving person who can get along with anyone at any time. He always does his best to lend an ear and make everyone feel welcome. I’m so glad to have him standing with me on this wonderful day.

I met Lucia about five years ago through my sister, and we quickly bonded over our shared love of good stories. Both in books and in life. We started a little book club together, and somewhere between the chapters and the chatter, she became one of my closest friends. Lucia is the kind of wonderful woman I can confide in, laugh with, and happily gossip alongside, whether we’re dissecting a novel or sorting through life’s beautiful messes. I’m so lucky to have her by my side.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Taylor since my days at Cabrillo. We quickly bonded over music, movies, and all the games we loved playing together with friends. Taylor has always been someone I can rely on, steadfast, genuine, and consistently supportive. He is a truly fantastic friend, and I’m incredibly grateful and honored to have him standing with me on this wonderful day.

Friends since kindergarten at the age of five, Delphine and I became chosen siblings. Through the years, we have had many adventures, attended each other’s graduations, and made countless memories. She is one of the most resilient and determined people I know. I am so glad to be able to call her my friend, and I am very excited to have her standing by me on this special day.

I met Mia in book club, and what started with sharing books quickly turned into a friendship I treasure so much. Mia is so fun-loving and spunky she brings the best energy into every room and always keeps things lively. On top of that, she gives the absolute best advice. She’s thoughtful, honest, and somehow always knows exactly what to say. I’m so lucky that book club brought us together, and I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side
