Sunday, November 3 is the NYC Marathon. For anyone looking to book a hotel, we recommend booking within one of our blocks as soon as you are able to, as the city will be filling up with out of town runners and guests that weekend. For anyone traveling to an airport Sunday morning, please give yourself ample time to get from your hotel to the airport due to potential traffic. For anyone who will be around Sunday, we highly recommend finding a place to watch the marathon! We have watched from Long Island City and 1st Avenue in Manhattan, but runners pass through Williamsburg at Bedford Ave, which is right by many of our hotels.
What is the dress code for Friday's Welcome Party?
For Friday’s welcome party, please dress casual chic. Think nice jeans, trousers, or khakis with a nice shirt, polo, or button down. If anyone is interested in wearing a dress or skirt, you are more than welcome to!
What is the dress code for the Wedding & Reception on Saturday?
The dress code for our wedding is formal. Think longer dresses, suits, etc.
Where do I enter the wedding venue?
Please use the entrance at 1000 Washington Ave. upon arrival to the venue. This is different from the main entrance to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens and will lead you directly to our ceremony location.
How do I get to the wedding venue?
The Brooklyn Botanic Gardens are easily accessible through many modes of transportation. You can reach the gardens by subway by taking the 4/5 to Franklin Avenue, which is closest to the venue entrance, but 2/3 to Eastern Parkway-Brooklyn Museum will bring you close to the venue. Car services are one of the easiest ways to travel around New York City. We recommend using Uber, Lyft, or Curb (NYC yellow taxis). If you are interested in driving, there is a parking lot on site that is run by a third party. Link to parking details: https://www.ggmcparking.com/locations/the-brooklyn-museum-and-botanic-garden
Can we bring our children?
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children. We thank you for your understanding!
