For those who know us well, it is probably no surprise that we met at a bar, but not in the way you might think.

We met while working together at the Village Pourhouse, a local sports bar in Hoboken. Even though we were both from totally different worlds—he from the middle of nowhere in Pennsylvania and her from the concrete jungle of Brooklyn—we instantly connected. At first, we were just friends. We spent a few years getting to know each other: as friends who could laugh for hours, support each other through the chaos of football season at the bar, and debate which restaurant in town had the best wings (we still disagree).

Eventually, friendship turned into something more. Maybe it was one too many late-night talks, or maybe it was the moment we realized we always wanted to sit next to each other, no matter where we were. We started dating, moved in together, and built a life filled with the things we love: traveling, trying new restaurants, bowling nights, being outdoors, and planning our next adventure.

Our favorite getaways together almost always involve an island, turquoise water, and a slight detour off the beaten path. While one of us (you can guess who) prefers lounging on the beach with a drink in hand, the other insists on at least one wild excursion per trip, whether its snorkeling with sea turtles or hiking through a dark cave filled with bats (yes, really!).

Through it all, whether were climbing into the unknown or just enjoying a lazy Sunday—we’ve found that life is always better together. We can’t wait to start this next chapter and are so excited to celebrate with you!
