Q + A

Who do I reach out to for lodging information at Bear Lake Reserve?

Bear Lake Reserve is the preferred lodging option for our wedding. The minimum night stay is 3 nights, and you will receive a 10% wedding discount. To request current availability and book a home, please email Bear Lake Reserve’s Lodging Specialist, Makenzie, at Makenzie@bearlakereserve.com. Please use the subject line “Lodging for the Montemayor-Mize Wedding.” She will need to know your check in and check out dates, number of adults and children, and if you prefer pet friendly options.

Can I bring a guest to the wedding?

Please check the RSVP page to see if your party includes a guest. After you have searched and selected your name, you will be able to see who is in your party. If "Guest" is listed, you are welcome to bring a guest.

My plans have changed and I'd like to update my RSVP. What do I do?

You should be able to update your RSVP from the RSVP page here. If you have trouble, please reach out to Melissa

Is the wedding kid-friendly?

Yes, children are welcome at the wedding! We will have access to the venue throughout the night, which has plenty of places for naps or play.

What is the dress code?

Semi-formal attire is requested for all except children. Children are encouraged to dress as knights, princesses, or other castle dwellers.

Do I really need to budget an extra hour of drive time to make it to Bear Lake Reserve or Castle Ladyhawke?

The mountain roads are windy and steep. In our experience, we found Google's estimates for travel time were off by an hour.
