We met in 2011 through mutual friends. Joey was home from college for the summer while I was just starting to look at going back to college. What started as casual hangouts in groups of friends gradually turned into dates. When Joey headed back to college in Milwaukee, that couldn't be the end of our story. I would go visit him and he would come home on breaks. We spent as much time together as we possibly could. Needless to say I was thrilled when he was ready to graduate and move back to Green Bay. We eventually moved in together and got a dog, Wisco.

We fell in love over our bond of seeing live music and going to Packer games.
