Is the wedding outside?
Yes, the ceremony will be right on the beach! For the reception we will have both covered and uncovered spaces.
Is there a dress code?
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Our dress code is beach/summer formal attire. For women this typically involves dresses in light, solid colors or florals, made of breathable fabrics. A variety of styles are appropriate, including midi, tea-length, and floor-length dresses. Men can opt for linen or seersucker suits, or a combination of a light jacket and slacks. Comfortable, stylish shoes with a block or wedge heel are recommended for women, while men can wear dress shoes or loafers.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm, we ask that our guests arrive at 4:30 for a welcome drink and to ensure you are seated on time. For those staying at the RIU, we will let you know ahead of time when the transportation will be leaving the resort.
Can I take pictures?
We’re so glad you want to help capture our special day! We’ve hired an incredible photography team, so we kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. This allows our photographers to do their job and gives you the chance to be fully present. After the ceremony, snap away—photos and videos are more than welcome!
