What do I wear to the wedding?
Men - dress pants, dress shirts or collared shirts. Women - dresses, dress pants. Our clothing colors are soft pallet neutrals, blues, greens, pinks, peach, etc.
When are RSVP’s due for the destination?
We ask that all RSVP's are in by August 21 as our final count is due August 22.
What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?
The Ceremony and Reception are both hosted in the same location: Shades of Green at 1950 W. Magnolia Palm Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony is outdoors in the Magnolia Garden while the reception is indoors.
Is there parking available near your wedding venue?
Parking is available on site for $1 per hour.
What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?
If you’re staying at the Dolphin, there will be shuttles provided at set times. Once we know those schedules, you will receive direct communication of your assigned shuttle. The shuttles at the end of the reception will take everyone to the Swan & Dolphin. The bride and groom will be going to
Jellyrolls on the boardwalk for a night cap. If you are staying at another hotel you can request an Uber or inquire with your hotels concierge.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
We have not, but most of us are staying at the Dolphin.
What is the weather like in the area?
Hot, humid, maybe a little hurricane-ee
Will there be an open bar?
Yes there will be an open bar for the cocktail hour and for the reception. The after party will be held at Jellyrolls, it will not be open bar at that time.
Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?
We are registered at Target, Macy’s, Amazon, and Crate & Barrel. Links are located under the registry tab.
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home address which is linked to all of our registries. A wedding card box will be at our reception.
What is the wedding day itinerary?
In short, the ceremony begins at 4pm sharp. The cocktail hour immediately follows at 4:30pm. Then the reception begins at 5:30pm and ends at 10:30pm.
When should I arrive to the ceremony?
Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony to allow time for parking, walking to the Magnolia Garden, and getting through security. The venue is a military base and they take security very seriously. If you're taking the shuttle you will be on time.
Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?
Yes. There will 3 additional events. #1 will be a welcoming party, graciously hosted by Jeannette & Mark Weaver, on Thursday 9/21 at the Phins bar located at the Dolphin Resort from 7pm-9pm. There will be a drink ticket provided and appetizers. Please reach out to Jeannette Weaver directly with any questions regarding that event. Event #2 will be on Friday 9/22 after the reception where the bride and groom invite you to join them for a nightcap at the Jellyroll located on the Boardwalk. Event #3 is the last of the group events and concludes the wedding weekend on Saturday 9/23 we are going to Epcot as a group. We will meet at The Rose and Crown in the UK at noon for a drink to kick off our world tour. We'll snag a few photos, share some laughs, and then break into smaller groups to explore all that Epcot 2023 has to offer us!
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
We would like to humbly ask that all guests refrain from taking any photos during the ceremony so that guests are not distracted by their devices and the professional wedding photographer can get the best possible shots without the interference of other flashes or mobile screens. We encourage you to take as many photos as you wish during the reception and after party.
Can I post wedding photos on social media?
Yes, absolutely. Please tag us so that we see everything.

We will not.

What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the wedding guests can head straight to the Magnolia Hall, where we will be serving finger foods and beverages during a cocktail hour. The Bride and Groom will be taking photos with family and friends at this time.
What type of food will be served at the wedding?
Cocktail Hour: Chicken & mandarin tartlets, vegetable spring rolls, and teriyaki meatballs.
Dinner: Rolls with whipped butter, mixed garden salad, vegetable accompaniments, ranch dressing, italian dressing, fresh fruit salad, seared salmon with dill cream sauce, grilled chicken breast with teriyaki sauce, red skin garlic mashed potato, rice pilaf, seasonal vegetables.
What drinks are available?
At dinner ice tea and coffee will be available. At the cocktail hour and reception an open bar will be stocked with coca-cola, diet coke, sprite, and water. Alcoholic beverages will include: liquor, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, chardonnay, pinot grigio, white zinfandel, bud light, budweiser, coors lite, miller lite, angry orchard hard cider, corona, heinekin.
