As of today, the restrictions for our venue is Mandatory masks unless you are sitting and eating, drinking, or dancing.
We will be right around the 250 guest count, and are working with all of our vendors and venue to ensure the proper social distancing standards are in place.
With the limit of seats per table based on non-family members, we will need to place some tables outside for the eating portion of the evening, with speakers in order to hear the speeches. We would rather be able to celebrate with everyone than have to cut our guest list.
Your comfort levels will be considered and we will do whatever we can to ensure your safety. If you do not feel comfortable to move around or take your mask off, we completely understand.
Thank you all for being supportive of us and we cannot wait to celebrate with you in a few short weeks!
Love,
The Cardas
Where to even begin... it seems like so long ago. Our sisters' Mariah and Brenna played softball together back when we were about 12 years old... That makes 20 years ago. I would love going to games knowing that there was the chance that this little blonde hair boy would possibly be there, and I could always count on him to play catch with me. Back then.. I was pretty nervous about talking to boys, and he has always been pretty shy, so you can about imagine how hard it was for us to get to this point...but back then, eventually, we got to hanging out. We would rollerblade down to Taco Bell, and get border fryz (he claims he doesn't remember this)...call each other on house phones, and always ended up having a good time. But, summer ended & we attended different schools and that was the end of our first chapter...
Fast forward to post high school, college, and Navy for me...and our paths crossed again. We played on the same softball team, via friends of friends, in the fall, and things seemed to pick right back up where they had left off, it was easy. I had Kayden, who was less than a year at this time, but us 3 spent a lot of time together. We dated for a few months, then life took another turn and there ends chapter 2...
Life, as we know it, seems to eventually come full circle...and if it's meant to be, then it's meant to be. The things in life that go wrong; tend to lead us to something that is right. Paths that end short; bring us to new ones. Nate and I both went through relationships that brought us back to each other for our third and final chapter. I have always known that there was something pretty incredible about this guy. Together we complete each other. We have dated three times, in three important stages in our life and deep down I think we both knew that we were meant to be from the very beginning. Not only are we going to be each others last love, but were each other's first too.
No matter what happens at the end of the day...it will be him and I in the end. Raising Kayden, Skylar and Griffey, in our home, and planning for our future.
We are so thankful to have our family and friends alongside us on this journey and cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together, as we were always meant to. <3
