Our Wedding

We met at the gym — where all great love stories begin (and by "great," we mean sweaty, slightly awkward, and full of side glances between sets). Our first date was at the Lilac Festival — which, fun fact, has zero lilacs. But it dose have live music, food vendors and most importantly, beer gardens. We skipped the sightseeing and went straight to dancing, drinking, and pretending we weren’t terrible at both. The night ended with a memorable twist: Kyle somehow managed to lock his Jeep inside the parkade and spent hours trying to figure out a way in. Not into his own car — just into the actual garage where it was trapped. A bold first impression. Melissa stuck around anyway — A keeper for sure As weekends turned into something more, Kyle grew tired of packing up Melissa’s cat like a furry overnight suitcase. So, naturally, we moved in together — for love, sure, but mostly to end the weekly cat shuttle service. One of our happiest milestones came with four paws and a big personality: the day we brought home our pup, Bo. He loves hiking, camping in our rooftop tent, and finding every possible moment in the day to go swimming — whether we planned for it or not. He’s basically the CEO of our adventures. When we're not exploring trails or hauling wet dog towels, you’ll find us at our favorite Friday night spot — Sheepdog Brewing — where we love meeting new people, swapping stories and making friends over great local beer. Fast forward to one of our most unforgettable adventures: a mountain hike that ended with Kyle down on one knee. (Yes, after the climb — great timing.) Melissa said yes, the view was stunning, and no one fell off the edge, so we’re counting it as a win all around. Now we’re getting married — still camping, still laughing, still picking dog hair off our clothes, and still arguing about whose turn it is to carry Bo down the trail when he “forgets how to walk.” We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Having all of our friends and family there on our big day is the greatest gift of all and we can't wait to celebrate with you! As we have been building our lives together for almost 12 years now, we have already acquired more than enough stuff so we will not be doing a registry.
