Our Wedding

Melissa and Austin met in December 2018. They were in the same friend group at Penn State Shenango. Throughout the friendship, Melissa and Austin grew feelings for each other, and little did they know they would become inseparable. Austin would invite Melissa to hang out, but she would always decline due to studying. Although they did not have an “official” first date, in April of 2019, Austin asked Melissa to get cinnamon rolls at Panera Bread before a school event and Melissa finally accepted! On May 2, 2019, Austin asked Melissa to be his girlfriend and the rest is history. Over the next 5 years, Melissa and Austin have experienced going on trips that included sporting events, camping, musicals, the beach, and many other destinations! No matter where they go, they have always created memories that will last a lifetime. February 10, 2024, Austin popped the question. They planned a double date to celebrate Valentine’s Day with close friends. Dinner was on Mount Washington in Pittsburgh, so they decided to head up there on the Duquesne Incline. At the top, they decided to kill some time before dinner and take photos at one of the many overlooks Pittsburgh has to offer. There, Austin decided to get down on one knee and asked Melissa to marry him. Melissa and Austin are so excited to spend the rest of their lives together and create so many more memories!

Theresa is Melissa’s older sister. Although some might say they are like day and night, they share many common interests like their love of chocolate and cats. Melissa was Theresa’s maid of honor in her wedding. They have so many special memories together.

Logan is Austin’s younger brother. Austin and Logan have so many memories together over the years.  They enjoy golfing and riding dirt bikes together in their free time.  Melissa and Austin enjoy family game nights and listening to Logan’s bizarre stories and jokes.

Melissa and Brittany are best friends. They share so many memories together like going to school dances and seeing the Jonas Brothers in concert whenever they are in town. Since Melissa and Brittany are so close, Austin also grew a friendship with Brittany. Austin and Melissa love to play cards with Brittany and help her move to wherever life takes her.

Jack is Austin’s best friend from high school. Austin and Jack have endless memories that track back to when they first met in 3rd grade. Jack coined the nickname “Stince” for Austin that he is still called to this day. Jack was in Pittsburgh with Austin and Melissa during their engagement helping capture their special moment.

Melissa and Hannah have been best friends since sixth grade. After graduating high school, they both went to Penn State. Austin met Hannah at Penn State while they were both engineering majors at the time. The three of them were in same friend group and always hung out on campus in the game room. Hannah is so special to Austin and Melissa because she got to see their relationship grow from the very beginning.

Logan and Austin have known each other for a long time. They met at church when Austin was in elementary school. They share many hobbies that include riding ATV’s, fishing, and hanging out. Melissa, Austin, and Logan enjoy having bonfires and going to fairs together.

Logan Clevenger

Hannah is Austin’s younger sister and Melissa’s future sister-in-law. With Hannah being the only girl in the family she sure knows how to deal with her brother’s misbehaving. Hannah enjoys shopping and playing with her dog Theo. Austin and Melissa are so excited to have her by their side on their big day.

Tyler and Austin have been friends since high school. They share many memories that include late night drives, hanging out with friends, and listening to music. Tyler and Austin have lots of deep conversations about life and always have supported one another.

Melissa and Victoria met through a mutual friend in high school, but their friendship grew very strong when they went to Penn State together. Victoria and Melissa never had a dull moment studying for classes together. Their favorite thing to do together is get Chinese food and share a sweet treat after.

Victoria Edelston

Melissa is Ryan’s best friend and views him as a brother. They met through Church Sunday School their freshman year of high school. Melissa and Ryan love to do crazy things together like skydiving and riding the slingshot at Cedar Point. Through the years, Ryan and Austin also became friends. The three of them love to go to dinner and TJ Maxx whenever Ryan is in town.

Melissa and Meghan met when Meghan started dating Austin’s best friend Jack. The four of them love to go on double dates to dinner. Every year, they go on a weekend trip to Peek’n Peak to play board games and watch the snow fall. Meghan is so special to Austin and Melissa and actually photographed their engagement in Pittsburgh and celebrated with them.

Vojta and Austin met through the fire department. Vojta has two sons that he loves spending time with. Vojta always pushes Austin to become the best version of himself, whether it be by working out or encouraging Austin through life.
