We met waiting in line to get on a train after a work conference in San Diego. Behnom switched his ticket last minute to an earlier train. He was extremely early for the train per usual, but I (Melissa- who is never early) was somehow early that day too, so we ended up standing right by each other in this extremely long line and started talking.

We chatted the whole way home, so much so that we didn't even mind that the train broke down and we were stuck on it for two extra hours.

I called my friends when I got home and told them I met my future husband (I only feel okay telling people this now since it actually came true!). A couple days later, I drove from Orange County to Santa Barbara to visit Behnom and the rest is history.

We enjoy going to spin together, going to the beach, watching football, going to games, traveling and more. While on a vacation in Hawaii, Behnom found and bought my dream engagement ring, but he didn't pop the question until a few months later during a wine tasting trip in Napa Valley. We can't believe we're here today- planning the most exciting day that will be the start of the rest of our lives together.

We've felt so grateful and loved throughout our relationship. Not just because of each other, but because of our family and friends welcoming each other with open arms. It has been the biggest blessing seeing how genuinely happy everyone is for us. It is truly the best feeling in the world. We couldn't be any more excited to share our special day with our amazing friends and family!
