There is no onsite parking at the venue. We will be providing shuttle service between the Vinland Hotel and Lounge and the venue. Ahead of the ceremony, there will be a shuttle at 3:30pm and 3:45pm. After the reception, the shuttle will be transporting guests back to the hotel starting at 8:30pm.

Our wedding will be outdoors. Guests will walk to the garden on paved pathways, but will need to step on grass briefly to take their seats. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.

We would recommend staying in Solvang as it will be easily accessible for the shuttle. In Solvang, other than the Vinland, we recommend the Worldmark Solvang and the Hadsten Solvang.

Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) is the closest airport. The hotel will be easily accessible from SBA via taxi, public transit or ride share.

The dress code is semi-formal/formal. We ask that you wear attire such as a cocktail-length dress, dressy separates or a suit and tie. Alternatively, an evening gown or a midi-dress would be appropriate.

The temperature will likely be in the low 80s during the day and can get as low as the high 40s during the evening.

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception, however, we do recommend bringing cash or a credit card along if you plan to attend the after-party, as drinks after the reception will not be covered.

Our reception will end around 10:00pm, after which there will be an after-party at the Maverick Saloon. There will be a cash bar.
