What should I wear?

Dressy Casual. The bride asks that you please do not wear WHITE as the bride should be the only one in WHITE or ALL black as this is a wedding not a funeral. 💃🏼🕺❌⚪️⚫️.

Do I have to RSVP?

Yes. An RSVP is absolutely REQUIRED for everyone. It is essential in planning for the meals and capacity limit to the venue. In order for us to be able to accomadate a meal for you; you must RSVP prior to the deadline of Aug 8, 2024 11:59 pm.

What if I don't RSVP, May I still come to the ceremony and/or reception

No, an RSVP is required. Due to limitations for the reception meals, accomadations will not be made for those who do not RSVP. This will be strictly enforced.

How many guest can I bring ?

Although we would love to accomodate everyone who wants to come and celebrate our big day with us, unfortunatly due to venue capacity, we can only accomodate those people noted on the invitation.

Can I bring my child/children ?

Absolutely! We just ask that they remain in your supervision during the important parts: I.E. first dance.

Is there cost for parking/where can I park ?

Parking is located on site at the venue. Please stay in the gravel area. There is no charge to park.

May I take a centerpiece/candles home as a souvenir?

No you may not. The decorations are rentals from The Main Event by Emily and will be cleaned up by them once the reception is over.

What is the weather like this time of year?

November can be both hot and cold. We strongly recommend to check the weather tab on your phone prior to heading to Smithfield.

Do I/We have to stay at the hotel recommended ?

You do not. You are free to stay where your heart desires. I have provided near by hotels for your convenience on the website.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony which starts at 2:30pm. In the event you are late to the ceremony, please wait for the reception as to not disturb the ceremony. We understand things happen that are out of everyone’s control. Don’t fret. We still want you to celebrate with us ❤️.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Weather provided, the ceremony will be outside. In the event that it does rain, the ceremony will be held inside. Cocktail hour will be along the wrap around porch of the venue. The reception will be held inside, however, there are garage doors to allow for fresh outside air if the weather is nice.

What will your wedding-day timeline look like?

While we have not finalized the timeline yet, the ceremony will be brief as we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you! Immediately following will be cocktail hour while we take our photos, followed by a reception. We will provide more accurate details as we get closer. So check back.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

There will be light hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour followed by a serve line buffet.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! Drinks are on us, the hangover is on you 🍻.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

We are going unplugged for the ceremony. So please silence your phones and do not take or post any photos as we have paid a very talented photographer and videographer to capture these moments.
