Registry

Your presence on our special day is the best present you can gift us! However, we have had some people ask us for gift ideas. While there is no expectation of a gift, we have created a registry linked below, or we would love for you to choose a favorite board game or puzzle to add to our collection. For those of that prefer to contribute to experiences and adventures rather than buying things, we also have a honeymoon fund that you can contribute to as well.

What should I wear?

Dress code is cocktail. As a note, the path to the ceremony is gravel, so please pick footwear accordingly. As the ceremony and cocktail hour are outside, and at 10k feet, please make sure to bring layers so you can adjust to the weather. Additionally, the bride is wearing black, so we request no all-black formal dresses, but please feel free to incorporate black into your outfit.

What concerns should I have about the elevation?

As the reception is at ~10,200ft, we highly recommend you ensure to be hydrated, get plenty of rest, and sleep at a lower elevation. Please be cautious if you choose to drink alcohol, as you may find it might affect you more than it does at lower elevations.

Do you have a hotel block?

No, we wanted to allow people to pick their own lodging. However, we do have a link that will give you 15% off The Blake if you would like to stay onsite. The couple will be staying at The Blake the night of the wedding, and there are several other options in the area, including AirBnBs, VRBOs, and other lodges. The Hampton Inn in Taos is a bit of a drive, but also a great option, and if enough people stay in this location, we can send the shuttle to pick people up around 2P. Please reach out if you need more info to help book lodging or to discuss a shuttle pickup!

Do I need to bring cash?

While your first drink is on us, it will be a credit card bar once our money runs out. Taos Ski Valley is cashless.

How are you having a pool party in September?

The pool at Cielo is an indoor heated pool. There is also a hot tub available. We ask that you keep kids out of the hot tub area. That being said, it is New Mexico and the highs should be in the 60-70s.

What should I bring to the pool party?

Please bring a swimsuit, your own towel, something to grill, and drinks to share! We will provide snacks and will have some board games available.

What is the best airport to fly into?

There are a lot of options! Santa Fe and Albuquerque are closest, which are 1.5 and 2.5 hours respectively. Other options with a slightly longer drive between 3.5-5 hrs are Colorado Springs, Denver, or Durango. All routes have fairly scenic routes with plenty of things to do along the way to break up the drive.
