Joe and Meredith met through Friend Mandy. Mandy worked with Joe and had a hunch Joe and Meredith would hit it off. Meredith tagged along to one of Mandys work events at PopStroke where she met Joe. Joe's story is that Meredith was flirting with him all night while Meredith's story is that she was just having normal conversations. For the record, Joe beat Meredith by one stroke that night. They started going on dates in the fall of 2022 and were official in January 2023.

Honestly, the two were always on the go! IF it wasn't a fishing tournament, sporting event, traveling to see family/friends or hosting family/friends Joe and Meredith kept busy. They enjoyed doing all the things but most importantly enjoyed each other's company throughout it all.

Joe sat both Meredith's Dad and Brother down to ask for her hand in marriage. Both Rob and Mickey said yes and couldn't be more excited to welcome Joe into the family

Well it was a fully family affair! Joe had help from not only family members but also close friends on everything from the ring ( because Meredith had no idea what she wanted except kept saying "Funky/Cool") to the actual engagement. Joe's one want was for it to be a SURPRISE and goodness was it. Meredith and Joe went fishing on a sunset cruise where he popped the question. Meredith was absolutley shocked and then heard cheers from the shoreline which were both his/her family and friends
