Back in 2018, I recently moved back home when Rachel invited me to a get together at one of her friend’s house. After I received the address of the party was 45 minutes away from my parents house I thought “Absolutely not. I am not driving almost an hour to go hang out with a group of people I don’t even know.” Well, I was convinced and I arrived to a house in the middle of nowhere. As I pulled up, I saw a group of about 5 guys, whom I didn’t recognize, outside playing beer pong, drinking, having a good ole time. Rachel was nowhere to be seen, she was running late. This group welcomed me with open arms.

Flash forward a few years, this group of strangers became people I would trust with my life, my secrets, and more importantly, my dogs. And one of the guys became the absolute love of my life. Chris accepted me for every detail of who I am and never asked me to change.

We now have a beautiful life together. 2 dogs, a cat, 2 fishes, 2 new cars and a house. I cannot wait to build onto this life we’ve made and see what life hands us together.
