We were 14 years old when we met at Peoria Notre Dame High School. Although not your typical "high school sweethearts," we were best friends all of high school - which we believe is the solid foundation we've built our relationship upon. After parting ways to go to different colleges, we rekindled our close friendship at a U of Iowa football game, where we realized we just couldn't be without each other anymore! So, we officially started dating on October 25th, 2014.

After 4 years of a long-distance relationship, I (Meredith) moved to Iowa to begin my, and eventually our, nursing careers and leave the long-distance behind!

John proposed on one of our favorite walking/biking trails next to the river in Iowa City on March 24th, 2019. I had no idea it was coming, but it was definitely the happiest of our days, so far!

We are so excited to take this next step in our relationship and share our special day with all of our friends and family! Thank you to everyone who helped us get to where we are today, especially our parents. We hope everyone can make it to celebrate with us!
