Due to venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your envelope. As much as we love our kids, we unfortunately cannot accommodate everyone's kids at our wedding. This will be an adults only event. We hope this will give you the opportunity to have so much fun and dance the night away with us! *Please reach out to Meredith and Kyle for special circumstances

Yes! The dress code is Cocktail/Semi Formal attire. Recommend suit & cocktail dresses. Dress to impress! Please NO jeans and NO white, ivory, or cream colored dresses. The ceremony and reception will both be inside. There is a patio with outdoor seating during cocktail hour and reception. Please bring appropriate outdoor attire.

The ceremony will be starting at 5:00pm. We recommend guests arrive between 4:30 - 4:45 so there is time to mingle and find a seat. If you are late, our coordinator and the venue coordinators will let you know if they are still allowing guests in or if you will need to wait until the bride has walked down the aisle. You will still be able to attend the reception, walk around the Cantigny grounds and we will see you at the reception!

Yes, there is complimentary guest parking. When coming through the entrance at Cantigny (from Winfield Rd) please let the attendants know you are here for the Edwards-Sheehan wedding. Proceed forward and veer left to the Visitor Center parking lot.

We ask that immediate and extended family stay in their seats following the ceremony. We will begin family photos after. If you aren’t immediate or extended family, please enjoy cocktail hour on the patio following the ceremony. Grab a drink from the bar and some snacks and visit with friends until the reception. You are also welcome to explore the Cantigny grounds!

Absolutely! We want our friends and family to have fun at be responsible. If you aren’t staying at the hotel you are more than welcome to park your car at the hotel and take advantage of our shuttle. The shuttle will be making round tips to and from the hotel and venue before the ceremony. And multiple trips throughout the reception back to the hotel.
