Meredith and Caden's story began in 2017, when she was a senior and he was a freshman in high school. Caden first noticed Meredith at a pep rally, where she was dancing, but it wasn’t until the end of her senior year that they started talking. He surprised her by showing up at all of her graduation events, never asking for an invitation—just there to support her. It was a sweet gesture that left a lasting impression.

As the years went by, their bond only grew stronger. Meredith cheered Caden on at his high school and college football games, while he supported her through her dance performances at Wichita State and her nursing school journey. Despite living in different states for two years, their relationship flourished. The distance was challenging, but it only made them more resilient, proving that love can thrive even when far apart.

Finally, after a Christmas Eve church service Meredith attended Botanica with her family thinking it was a work event for her father. Little did she know there was a handsome man with his family, waiting to surprise and propose to her.
