Ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 pm. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to find a seat, and get comfortable. Cocktail hour will follow immediately after the ceremony in the side yard by the lagoon. Everyone will be seated for dinner & reception around 7:00 pm.

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event. We hope you are still able to celebrate with us!

Due to venue restrictions, we only have room to accommodate those listed on your invitation. When you RSVP online, you will see the names associated with your invite. Please be sure to select all from your party who will be attending.

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be taking place outdoors under the Avenue of Oaks; we recommend flat-soled shoes or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass. Cocktail hour will also be held outdoors on the lagoon lawn. The reception will be tented on the fountain patio in front of the house. Guests will have access to the Legare Waring House throughout the evening as well.

Yes, for those staying at the Hampton Inn Charleston and the Courtyard Charleston Waterfront hotels. Trollies will be running to the venue before and after the wedding.

Guests staying at additional hotels are welcome to meet at either option to utilize transportation to/from downtown. For those driving, parking is available onsite.

For those who RSVP’d saying they’d be stopping by for a drink the night before, a welcome party will be held at the Peninsula Grill Courtyard from 7:00-9:00 pm. Horderves will also be served.
