Where will the ceremony be held?
The ceremony will be held at the top of Wedding Way, a slope at Mt Creek Ski Resort. Guests and the wedding party will take a partially enclosed gondola up to the top of the mountain and then back down after the ceremony.
Is there a hotel available?
Yes. Guests can stay in our room block at The Appalachian Hotel just steps away from the reception at The Red Tail Lodge.
Where will the reception be held?
The cocktail hour and reception will be held at The Red Tail Lodge. It is at the base of the mountain and directly next to The Appalachian Hotel. After the ceremony, the gondola will bring guests directly to The Red Tail Lodge.
What is the time of the ceremony?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 6pm. However the gondola will begin bringing guests to the top at 5:15pm and the last chair will be at 5:45pm. We encourage all of our guests to make the gondola because just like in Rock n Roll, it is a long walk to the top otherwise.
When will the reception start and end?
The reception will begin with a cocktail hour at 7pm and end at 12am. There will be an after party held in the bar above the reception hall, called Schuss, from 12a until 1am.
What is the dress code?
Traditional wedding attire. Prizes awarded to best dressed!

is there parking availbe?
Yes. There will be parking at the venue and at the hotel.
Is this a child friendly occasion?
Children over the age of 10 are welcome to come and dance the night away! Children under the age of 10 are not permitted for the sake of their parents sanity. You don't have to admit it but you know it will be nice to have a night away from them.
Will there be a shuttle service?
Shuttles shan't be needed. The hotel, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and after party are all on the same property. If you would like a shuttle anyway you will have to provide your own. It is a BYOS wedding.
