We met online before I even made it to Florida! When we started to talk, it was like we had know each other for years. We spent up to 6 hours the first four nights on video chat talking about anything and everything! Jared knew very early on that I was his girl and he was not afraid to let me know. He had the courage to tell me over a video chat that he loved me and wanted me to be his girlfriend! He clearly knew what he was talking about given our current situation!

Our first date: After quite a lot of discussion and Jared's determination to take me out to dinner we ended up going to PF Changs for a dinner full of laughter, jokes, and simple fun. We actually had a waitress from another section come over and said she has to let us know how wonderful our energy was and that she loved watching us interact. I know what you all are thinking and no - he did not pay that waitress to say anything!

Our first Florida State Fair was a blast!

Nothing like kayaking the beautiful fresh waters of Florida with the man you had always prayed would come along!

We had the wonderful opportunity to get dressed up to celebrate the marriage of a dear friend and of course he had to sport Gator colors!

Our first out-of-state vacation was to Beach, North Carolina. Jared has been snowboarding for eight years and learned while he lived in Colorado, so he is the one you'll see doing flips and tricks down the mountain. However, for those that know me, ballet was of the highest importance so I did nothing that would jeopardize my ability to perform. This trip was a very large learning curve for me, but I will say we were on the way to the top in this picture and I did make it down but with a few stops along the way.

Even when we are helping with a family project, it's never a dull moment when we are together!

We were able to celebrate our one-year anniversary on Easter this year! Such a blessing!
