If you're looking to live like John and Meredith, go get a slice of pizza at one of our favorite spots in Shaw! It's also located across from the historic 930 club where bands like Nirvana and Fugazi got their start!

DC has a great food scene and Ramen is one of the staples. Located in Shaw and one of our favorite places to grab a bite, would recommend Haikan to anyone!

A DC classic and favorite of the Griffin family. Primarily Danny. Would recommend the burger.

The oldest restaurant in DC and two blocks from our venue, Old Ebbitt Grill is a classic DC place where you may run into your representative.

If you want to grab a drink with a very cool view of the White House, check out the rooftop of Hotel Washington!

A DC classic bookstore and great place to grab a coffee or bite to eat. In the middle of the historic Dupont neighborhood, it's easily one of the must-visits of the city.

If you are the outdoorsy type, spend some time hiking around beautiful Rock Creek Park!

Capitol Hill is known for a place of politics, but it's also one of our favorite DC neighborhoods and Lincoln Park is at the center of it. Would recommend a morning walk through the neighborhood, grab a coffee, and look at all the beautiful homes.

A sort-of-hidden gem of the city, the Washington National Cathedral was built in 1792 and the third highest structure in the city. Located in the Woodley Park neighborhood, it's a pretty breath-taking piece of architecture and surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Go be a tourist! We do it all the time. The National Mall is always worth the visit and particularly beautiful in the Fall. Not to mention, our wedding venue is a short walk to both the National Mall and The White House!
