On Christmas Eve, Nick and Meredith connected on a dating app and then stayed up all night talking on the phone for 8 hours. Three days later, they had their first official date where they spent the whole day walking around Borderland State Park.

They went on their first of many hiking trips together in New Hampshire.

Meredith and Nick’s first camping trip together where it rained the whole time and their fire somehow kept reigniting itself in the middle of the night.

For their first trip together, they traveled to Puerto Rico for the wedding of some close friends. They ended up traveling around the whole island and stayed at 4 different hotels over 5 days.

For their first anniversary they celebrated by taking a ride in a helicopter over the White Mountains.

The day Nick and Meredith moved in together just as a snow storm was hitting.

The day before Nick deployed they spent the day in Bar Harbor and hiked the Beehive Trail in Acadia National Park.

When Meredith flew to Europe to visit Nick, they got to spend a long weekend exploring Rome together.

And then they finished off the trip by spending two weeks together in Poland. They actually had to climb in and out of the window of their Airbnb on this day because they forgot the keys.

After 10 months away, Nick finally returned home.

Nick, Meredith, and a few close friends drove up to New Hampshire for a day trip. They hiked to the summit of Mount Willard where Nick got down on one knee and proposed to Meredith.

Three days after they got engaged, they adopted their puppy Odiin. What a week.
