Our venue is at The Contemporary Austin - Laguna Gloria. The address is 3809 W 35th St, Austin, TX 78703. The Contemporary Austin - Laguna Gloria, is the site of a 1916 Mediterranean-style villa on the shores of Lake Austin. The Contemporary Austin is a museum of contemporary art featuring outdoor sculptures across fourteen acres. We highly recommend you explore the property while you're there!

We suggest using a ride share app such as Lyft or Uber to get to and from the venue. There is street parking available if you prefer to drive but please keep in mind you may have to walk some distance to the venue. Please give yourself ample time to travel to the venue, it is roughly 15 minutes from downtown Austin.

Our wedding will be entirely outdoor. October weather in Austin is usually beautiful but can be a bit unpredictable. We recommend keeping a close eye on the weather in the days leading up to our wedding!

We want our guests to look and feel their best on our wedding day! We ask that guests dress in formal attire. Dark colors or jewel tones are preferred.

As much as we love the children in our lives, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults only event.

Of course we think Austin is wonderful all year round but October is extra special to us Austinites with Austin City Limits Music Festival, Formula 1, and Longhorn football! With that being said, October is an extremely busy month in Austin. We suggest booking hotel or Airbnb/VRBO accommodations as soon as possible.

We have a room block at the Origin Hotel. Room blocks are limited so please call to book a room as soon as possible. When booking, call the Origin at (512) 861-1140 and mention the group code 101024GEN. If you would rather stay at an Airbnb/VRBO, some areas we love are East Austin, Mueller, Clarksville, and Tarrytown. We recommend avoiding the Zilker neighborhood and park area if you do not want to deal with music festival traffic. Zilker is a very popular Airbnb/VRBO location, please be aware before booking. The map below shows the areas that will be affected most by music festival traffic. If you need help on where to stay, please reach out. We would love to help!

Please enjoy and explore Austin during the day on Friday! Following our ceremony we will be serving cocktails, wine and beer as well as heavy passed hors d'oeuvres throughout the evening. Please note that we will not be serving a formal dinner but we don't think anyone will go hungry!
