They met on an American Airlines flight where Steve was a pilot and Meredith was a flight attendant. She forgot her lunch box and went back on board. Steve was the only one left on the plane, and they walked up the jetway together. Steve just got her first name, but he managed to track her down later.

Their first date was at the Starbucks at DFW Airport. Meredith was on call, and they knew she might have to fly off at any time.

Steve is a First Officer at American Airlines, and Meredith is in the Southwest Airlines Pilot program.

Meredith (Oklahoma) and Steve (New York) are now TEXANS. They live at 2409 Waters Edge Lane, Denton, TX 76208.
