Meredith and Jon met on a popular dating website “Hinge” in May 2020. What we didn’t realize prior to our first date, is that we were from the same hometown, Peachtree City. He went to Starrs Mill and I went to McIntosh, notorious rival schools. However, we never crossed paths somehow. It felt meant to be that we would meet someday at the right time, having so much in common.

After the first date, we were almost inseparable right away. Wednesdays were our weekly dates at first but soon, that wasn’t enough anymore and we started seeing each other multiple times a week. Our first summer together was so much fun, despite aspects of dating being difficult at that time due to strict covid restrictions being in full force at the beginning of the pandemic. We always found a way to have fun no matter what we were doing though and that remains the same to this day.

We moved into our house in Kennesaw in November 2020 and have lived there happily together ever since. We enjoy the simple things together. We love watching our shows, playing games, riding our bikes, and we’ve recently taken up Tennis. Our life is full of laugher every day and we feel we’ve truly found our best friend in life in each other.

Jon proposed on January 1st, 2023 in one of our favorite places to be together – on the beach in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina where my parents have a condo. Many of our greatest memories have been made there. He organized everything perfectly and both of our families were there to celebrate after I said yes. It was the most special day of our lives and we look forward to April 12th to make it official and become husband and wife!
