Guests will feel most comfortable in cocktail attire. We suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt with tie, and women wear any length dress or dressy separates. And of course, let's save white for the bride!
Will the ceremony take place indoors, or outdoors?
If all goes according to plan, we will be holding the ceremony outdoors. The Roostertail has a beautiful outdoor ceremony space, right on the Detroit river. The space is completely covered, but is open to the elements.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm. Guests may begin to arrive at the Roostertail starting at 4:30pm.
How late will the reception go? Is there an afterparty?
Our reception is scheduled to go until 10:30pm. We plan to reserve tables at The Old Shillelagh in Detroit. We hope to get a rough headcount, so please email us at raywolahanwedding@gmail.com if you'd like to join!
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes! The Roostertail has a large secure parking lot, as well as overflow parking if they're hosting multiple events. We will not have valet at the venue, but the parking lot is just steps from the front door.
Are the ceremony and the reception taking place at the same venue?
Yes! We're excited to hold both our ceremony and reception at the Roostertail. A cocktail hour will take place in between these two events.
May I bring a plus one?
Plus ones have been notated on your invitation, as well as the RSVP form. We've generally limited it to those who are married, or in long-term relationships. If you think we've overlooked someone, please reach out!
