Meredith and Ben first officially met on the American Cancer Society's Little Pink Dress Party committee. But truth be told, they already crossed paths in a funny way- they had matched on Hinge the year before, only for Ben to not message until a month after and then for Meredith to not reply at all. God sure does have perfect timing and a great sense of humor!When Meredith spotted Ben again, she thought he was pretty cute. A little curious (and maybe a little bold), she asked a friend to do some digging, then added him on Facebook and sent him a message. The rest, as they say, is history.From their very first date, everything felt natural and right. It didn't take long to realize this was something special. Emotions, trust, and love built quickly and by their seventh date they were already in Las Vegas together, laughing, making memories, and feeling like they'd known each other forever.But what happened in Vegas did not stay in Vegas! Both Meredith and Ben had wondered if a love like this would ever happen for them- and now they both know: when you know, you know.Ben and Meredith's first summer together only deepened that truth. They spent time falling in love in helicopter rides over Las Vegas, on sunset cruises on Creampuff (Bens beloved boat on South Holston), spending time at the pool with family and friends, traveling to places like Charleston (Meredith's favorite place) and Grand Teton/Yellowstone National Park, and, of course, trying to train Ben's new rambunctious and adorable puppy, Mabel.While their feelings for each other grew quickly, they could not be anymore in love with one another.Ben proposed to Meredith on the front porch of their home. Ben sent Meredith out for food, claiming that he had to work late. When Meredith arrived back home with food, Ben had laid out a trail of rose petals, pictures, and candles to a set dinner table. Ben snuck out to the back porch and ran around to the front of the house to ring the doorbell. It was there that Ben got down on one knee and asked Meredith to continue their love story forever.Ben and Meredith's love for each other has been a testament of God's perfect timing. Its important to know that God has a plan for everyone's life and to never settle. There is always something better ahead if one keeps their faith!What started with volunteer work has turned into a whirlwind of laughter, faith, and the kind of certainty that only comes when you've found your person. Theirs is a love only God could have created, and its just beginning of the greatest adventure yet.

Emma and Meredith have been friends for 12 years. They met at a college group at Meredith's church, Fellowship Chapel. Emma has been a strong and close friend to Meredith all of those years and has helped her get through many of life's ups and downs. Meredith knows she would not be where she is today without Emma's constant love, reassurances (ha!), and friendship. Meredith is so thankful to have Emma by her side!

Tomie Jo and Meredith have been friends since 2005, when they were both in sixth grade. Tomie Jo has been a strong and steady friend to Meredith. These two girls have watched each other grow up! Tomie Jo knows Meredith inside and out and will always be a core foundation of who Meredith grew up to be. Meredith is incredibly grateful for this nearly lifelong friendship!

We kindly encourage guests to dress in cocktail attire. Think polished, elevated, and celebratory, a step above everyday wear and perfect for a wedding evening.For women: Cocktail dresses, maxi, midi or knee-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or nice skirts and tops are great options. Dressy fabrics, patterns, and seasonal colors are welcome.For men: Khaki or dress pants paired with a button-down or dress shirt are encouraged. A tie, blazer, or sport coat is welcome but completely optional. The goal is a neat and dressy look.If you're someone who loves to dress up, this is your moment! Have fun with it! While we are not having a color dress code, our wedding color is hydrangea blue if you’d like inspiration.The ceremony and social hour will take place outdoors and the weather may be warm, so lightweight fabrics are recommended. We ask that you avoid white attire, athletic wear, or shorts. Please don’t feel the need to purchase anything new — your presence is what matters most to us!

If you're coming in from out of town, we're so excited to welcome you! We hope you'll take time to soak in the charm of the Appalachian Highlands, a place rich with history, music, and natural beauty. Here are some of our best recommendations: 1. A night of excitement awaits at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Bristol, where music, gambling, dining, and entertainment come alive. 2. Wander the iconic Virginia Creeper Trail in Abingdon, whether by bike or on foot, and let the mountain air refresh you. End the day with a stroll along Main Street and a romantic dinner at Rain. 3. Step into the story of country music at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, then linger downtown for a sweet stop at Blackbird Bakery or toast the evening with rooftop views at Lumac. 4. Walk along historic State Street, where one side is Tennessee and the other Virginia. Explore its boutiques, murals, restaurants, and live music, and don't forget to stand with one foot in each state. 5. Experience Bristol Motor Speedway, one of the most famous NASCAR tracks in the world. Even if there isn't a race, the tours are fascinating and worth a visit! 6. Escape to the water's edge at South Holston Lake. There are many marinas to check out, but it is worth noting that Sportsman Marina offers boat rentals and lakeside attractions perfect for both families and adventurers. 7. While Bristol and Abingdon are near to our hearts, the nearby cities of Johnson City and Kingsport also have their fair share of restaurants, breweries, parks, and trails. 6. Take a scenic day trip to Asheville, Boone, Pigeon Forge, or Knoxville. Each is just a short drive away, offering its own unique blend of fun. If you’re looking for more recommendations, please ask! We have a room block available at The Bristol Hotel located in downtown Bristol, VA from June 19-21. These rooms are available at a discounted rate. To reserve one of these rooms, simply call the hotel at (276) 696-3535 and mention the Robinson Wedding. This room block will expire on May 19, so be sure to call before then! The hotel is located at 115 Country Music Wy, Bristol, VA and is in walking distance to local gems such as the Birthplace of Country Music Museum and Blackbird Bakery. It is also within walking distance of several shops and restaurants. It is an approximately 25 minute drive from the hotel to the venue. We understand if you're not wanting to stay at this location, however, and have many other recommendations for lodging in the area such as the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Martha Washington Inn and Spa, Meadowview Conference Resort and Convention Center, as well as many chain hotels off The Pinnacle exit and the venue's exit.
