In 2019, Max and Merrell found each other while studying at Auburn University. They were introduced by mutual friends, and were immediately enamored by each others' humor and charisma. Max graduated in 2020 and moved to North Carolina to pursue a Masters Degree from Wake Forest University. Meanwhile, Merrell remained at Auburn to complete her undergraduate degree, continuing their relationship long-distance for almost two years. With the addition of Mushu and Miss Bean, of course.

In 2022, Max graduated from his Masters and moved back to Auburn to begin his PhD studies at Auburn University. While Merrell, still in Auburn, began growing her Digital Marketing Agency.

And now, as August 2024 approaches, they have celebrated an amazing milestone--five years together. Auburn, now a cherished home, serves as the backdrop for their story. Max's doctoral studies will continue, culminating in the expected thesis defense in 2026.
