Mesa and Rylee originally met when their older siblings (Bradlee-best man and Hope-maid of honor) went to prom together in high school. Neither of us knew anything about each other until a mutual friend (Marah-personal attendant) reintroduced us almost a year later. 

From that point forward Rylee persistently tried to hangout with Mesa, only to be friend zoned many times. February 14, 2018 on a lonely valentines day night, Mesa asked Rylee to take her on a date which Rylee replied to with “Of course!!”
The following weekend Rylee took Mesa on her first date where she would not let him pay for her. This highly offended Rylee and he wanted a redo which Mesa easily agreed to. They quickly became inseparable and Mesa realized Rylee wasn’t as weird as she thought…no scratch that he is, but he’s also perfect for her!
In all seriousness Rylee came into Mesa’s life at the most perfect time when all she was looking for was a friend. Not only did they becomes friends but they realized they were soulmates. After 5 years Rylee decided it was time to make Mesa a Schultz. Although no one expected Mesa to be a farm wife, they couldn’t imagine life without each other!
