To get from Incheon Airport to Seoul you can go by train, bus, or taxi.

Getting around in Seoul is easy.

1. The city has an excellent subway system that is easy, in English, and goes everywhere.

To find the best way to get to your destination with the subway you should download the NAVER MAP app which works just like Google Maps. (Google Maps does not work in Korea).

2. Taxi is relatively cheap compared to many other big cities. Regardless of your destination you should not expect to spend more than KRW 10-35,000 / USD 7-24 when traveling within Seoul.

Note: most taxi drivers do not speak English, so we recommend that you download the K.ride app to order a taxi. (Just like Uber, but Uber doesn’t work in Korea).

Some destinations don’t ‘exist’ in English in the K.ride app, so a good idea is to have your hotel to write the destination in Korean for you in the app - AND of course have your hotel address saved on your phone in Korean as well for easy copy/paste into the app.

All taxis take most major credit cards but it’s of course good to have some cash on you just in case.
