What Should I Wear?
The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or sports coat.
WHERE ARE THE CEREMONY AND THE RECEPTION TAKING PLACE?
Our wedding ceremony and reception will both be taking place at The Springs Event Center in Skiatook, OK. There is a private parking lot so there is no need to worry about parking. Uber and Lyft are difficult to reach at night so please plan accordingly.
WILL THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
We understand that Oklahoma weather is unpredictable but our plan is that the ceremony will be taking place outside and the reception will take place inside and out on the patio.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CEREMONY?
After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for close to 45 minutes. Guests can head straight to the reception hall, where we will be serving appetizers and beverages during a cocktail hour.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive on location 45 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time. We understand that things happen and people run late but we do ask if this is the case you lay low and not disrupt the ceremony. Thank you!
PARKING?
The Springs is a private venue so there will be a parking lot on site with handicap options. You are also allowed to leave your vehicle overnight if needed but please communicate that with someone in the wedding party to let the venue know.
ARE KIDS WELCOME?
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. We ask any child under the age of 13 to please not attend.
CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. If you have any questions about this please reach out to us and we would love to talk about options.
WHERE DO I STAY THE NIGHT?
We listed several hotels in the travel section of our page that would be good and the closest choices to the venue. However, we HIGHLY recommend staying at the Osage Hotel in Skiatook due to the proximity and pricing.
WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO RSVP?
Thank you in advance for sending your RSVP before May 7th. You can simply RSVP right here on our wedding website. Please do not text us to let us know you are coming. These messages can often get lost in the last minute wedding craziness and we would hate to miss your RSVP.
WILL DINNER BE SERVED AT THE RECEPTION?
Yes! We will be serving several appetizers, access to a pasta bar, pizza, wedding cake, salads, etc. There will be multiple different options of food throughout the night. Think of it as an Italian buffet.
WHERE ARE YOU REGISTERED?
We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for items we need for our newlywed home. These registries can be found on our website or searched for online from Target or Amazon.
WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED?
You are responsible for your own transportation. Again, Uber and Lyft is hard to come by at our venue. However, you are allowed to leave your vehicle over night at the venue. Also, if you book with the Osage Hotel they do provide a shuttle from the venue at the end of the night.
