Our Wedding

We met at our shared work place in 2019. In 2021, we became close after a series of events transpired at work which led us to talk on the phone each shift as friends for 3-10 hours at a time... Ok, let’s be real, Mia would talk and Jon would listen until he could not take it anymore! After our friendship bloomed, we had a running joke at work that Mia would work out of Jon’s closet. Finally, the plans left the group chat and the two made plans for the first time outside of work in July 2022 and planned a game night…The rest is history! Our relationship can be described as a slow burn - We went from coworkers, to  friends, to best friends, to a couple!

We are so lucky to have Brooklynne by our side! Brooks is a special person to the Bride and is a crucial part of our new family. Not only is Brooks a sibling to the bride, but they are also one of the closest humans to Mia in this world. It is vital that Brooks holds a title of ‘Person of Honor’. One of our cherished memories is all of the inside jokes shared between the Bride, the Groom, and Brooks. *Insert cat inside joke*

We are honored to have Norma be a Person of Honor in the Bridal Party! Norma & the Bride met 12 years ago while they both started their first day Walmart! The two were inseparable since. From coworkers, to friends, bestfriends, roommates, etc! We could not have this wedding without Norma by our side!

We are excited to have Manisha stand by the Bride’s side as a Bridesmaid! Manisha is the Bride’s oldest friend - dating back to the YMCA Summer Fun Club around the year of 2002. Life has took both Manisha and the Bride in different directions in terms of schools, states, and more, however the two have built such a strong friendship they never have strayed away from one another!

We are excited to welcome Dominique as a Bridesmaid! The Bride has known Dominique for 19 years! A favorite memory that will always be remembered is how the two spent multiple summers together and spent time together allllllll day -all summer: Scary movies, junk food, and cousin bonding!

We are honored to have Millie as part of the Bridal Party! The bride has known Emilia for 18 years and has had the pleasure of growing up with her! A favorite memory is making TikTok’s in the pool - the same take over and over and over again!
