Our story started off from meeting through mutual friends in high school. We became good friends and had a lot of great memories together. Our friend group hung out almost everyday. Although we are now engaged we still enjoy doing a lot of the same things we did as friends, such as getting ice cream from braums, cooking dinners together, going on long car rides, visiting art museums, going to the gym, and being outside. One of our favorite memories together before we started dating is going up to Stillwater to visit one of our great friends. We always hung out in groups with all our friends and this was one of the first times it was just us. That was when we realized not only did we have a lot in common but we also talked the whole way there and back with no pauses in between. This was also the time Caleb realized candy was not an abnormal dinner for Mia! After we graduated we moved into an apartment together with a mutual friend of ours and realized we both had feelings for each other that was more than just friends. We went on our first date to the fair and that is something that has now become a yearly tradition. October, 15th 2022 is when we officially started dating. After about nine months of living with roommates we decided it was time we got a place of our own. It was great for us, especially before buying a house because it had a small yard for Rosie to run around in and that’s when we realized we wanted a little something more for her. After our lease ended at that apartment we bought our first house in Sapulpa! This was so exciting for us, we finally got to have a place we could truly call our own and nice big 1/2 acre yard for Rosie. A little over two and a half years after being boyfriend and girlfriend we got engaged!! It was supposed to be two and a half years on the dot but Mia’s appendix decided it was time to come out so plans changed a little bit. The secret was still safe and Mia had no clue when he got down on one knee. Now we are so close to our wedding and we are so excited for this next chapter of life. After three and a half years of being together not only has our relationship grown but we are still each other’s very best friends! We are so excited to celebrate the most important day of our lives with all the people we love and cherish most💛
