Will and Mia are both natives of the Denver area. Despite some cross country moves earlier in life, they both found their way back to Colorado for law/business and medical school, respectively, graduating in 2017. Will works in commercial real estate development and Mia is an orthopedic surgery resident at the University of Colorado.

Will smartly suggested a wine and cheese place for their first date in 2018. They quickly bonded over their love of good food and cocktails. Despite hitting it off right away, Mia cautioned her friends and family that they'd have to see how well Will fared after an upcoming two orthopedic trauma rotations her intern year. Moreover, PGY2, notoriously the most challenging year of orthopedic surgery residency, was looming. Will stuck it out, though, and has continued to stand by Mia through her residency while pursuing his own career in real estate development.

They got engaged during the peak of COVID-19 quarantine on May 8, 2020. In true quarantine fashion, Will got takeout from one of their favorite restaurants and they spent the evening sequestered together (and of course face timing friends near and far).

They are beyond excited to invite everyone to the city of Denver for their wedding day in September 2021!
