11/14/24: UPDATE: As of today, Maria (travel agent) has to reserve rooms one at a time. Because of this, it will take her a few extra days to let you know if the resort has availability for the dates you would like to come. Please reach out to her about dates to secure your room before purchasing flights in case the resort does not have those dates available. Worst case, our guests can also stay at the Adults Only side of the resort (they are connected) however this side is a bit more expensive.

We have reserved some rooms at the Paradisus Playa Del Carmen (Family friendly location) for the week of Monday February 17th to Monday February 24th. The price for those that stay the entire duration of the week is as follows and includes all food and drink at the resort and transfers from the airport and back:

◦ “I would like to reserve a room for the Richker-Cirese wedding room block February 2025”

◦ Full names on passports and birthdays for the people you are reserving

◦ The dates you want to stay (we are staying Mon 2/17 - Mon 2/24, do not feel obligated to stay the entire time. Welcome party is Weds and Wedding is Thurs)

◦ Your phone number so she can call you to retrieve your credit card info to secure a deposit of $100 per person for the room.

*Once you have purchased your flights, send a screenshot of them to Maria so she can organize the shuttle to and from the airport

We have a room block of 25 (2 double bed) rooms saved with the lowest rate and about 17 rooms accounted for currently. You will be able to get a room no matter what but the sooner you reserve, the better because I don’t know the exact date the rates increase but it sounds like it’s in a month or two.

Single Occupancy:

- $2,879 per person in the Junior Suite Garden View room

Double Occupancy:

- $1712.33 per person in the Junior Suite Garden View room

Triple Occupancy (max # of people per room allowed):

- $1665.67 per person in the Junior Suite Garden View room

**The rooms in this block have 2, double-sized beds. Feel free to upgrade to a different room when discussing with Maria. There are other options available like other room categories, less days, or kids' prices. These options will likely be more expensive.

FLIGHTS

Maria can provide a quote, but it is worth shopping around with the airline you typically fly with in case it is more affordable. We have already began purchasing flights and suggest doing so sooner than later to get the lowest rate possible here as well.

Fly into the Cancun airport. It is closer to the resort than the Cozumel airport.

**For resort booking, it is easier and less expensive to book through Maria, our travel agent. She has group rates. Not only is she able to help you save money, but the booking procedure will be less stringent. When you call, she will discuss the resort with you and request your email address and your information to make a deposit. She can also discuss flight logistics with you.

PASSPORT REMINDER!

We suggest double checking to ensure that your passport is valid up to 6 months after this trip. This would mean that your passport doesn't expire until September, 2025.

Technically, the Mexican government only requires that your passport is valid during the entirety of your trip. If this will be the case for you, please contact the airline(s) you will be flying on to ensure that they let you board the plane as the United States does have a six months validity rule for passports that may apply.

Processing times:

Routine: 6-8 weeks*

Expedited: 2-3 weeks and an extra $60*
