Our Wedding

Like all great modern romances, ours began with a swipe and a sushi date in the heat of July 2022. From the first roll to the last laugh, it was clear we had something special. Brendan wasn’t ready for the night to end, so he invited me on a spontaneous Walmart adventure to pick out birthday gifts for his friend’s kids. It was quirky, sweet, and a perfect glimpse into life together. &nbsp;What started as a slow burn quickly became a roaring fire. I was the first to say, “I love you.” It slipped out before I could stop myself—my heart had decided long before my mind could catch up. And the rest is history!&nbsp; Together, we’ve shared so many wonderful experiences: being welcomed into each other’s families and friend groups wholeheartedly, bonding over dungeons and dragons, attending countless “crappy” punk concerts (his words!), cheering on Brendan’s band “Spilt Milk” at local gigs, celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland, ringing in the New Year in Charlotte, NC, and visiting Canada for the first time (for me, at least!).&nbsp;We have even tried our hand at pottery, axe throwing, and rock climbing!&nbsp;&nbsp; Even amidst all these adventures, we find as much joy in the quieter moments we share: snuggling with the animals, cooking together, and savoring Saturday morning coffee. Whether big or small, every moment together feels like a gift.&nbsp; And as you might have already guessed, Brendan did in fact “Fall [fell] in love with the girl at the rock show” and proposed just before we went to a Blink-182 concert on July 21, 2024! It was the perfect combination of romance and fun, capturing exactly what makes our relationship so special. We both like to joke that we are each the best thing the other has found on the internet, and I thank the universe for bringing us together each day. We can’t wait to celebrate our love with all of you—get ready for a day full of joy, memories, and maybe even a last-minute Walmart trip on the big day to keep things real.
