In late 2018, Mia's best friend, Morgan, posted a handsome looking dude on her snapchat story and Mia immediately responded asking who the heck that was. Morgan responded that it was her friend, Ira, from high school. At the time Ira was living in Nashville, working for a PR agency and Mia was living in Chicago. Mia told Morgan and her husband, Pat, that she was interested in Ira as they were both best friends with him and Ira reached out to Mia late summer of 2019.

Fall of 2019 rolled around and Ira visited Chicago with all of his friends. They met up for the first time and it was instant butterflies for Mia. Funny story is Ira was supposed to have another date that same weekend but cancelled it when he met Mia and Mia was supposed to have a date a few months later and cancelled it too. They got to know each other over facetime, text and phone calls over the next few months and got to see each other when they could.

Then, in March of 2020, Ira asked Mia to be his girlfriend and the whole world shut down from covid. He then moved from Nashville to Dallas (where his mom and dad live) so he didn't have to be alone during the pandemic.

In December of 2021, Ira moved to Chicago, a few blocks away from where Mia was living.

In May 2023, Mia and Ira moved in together and he popped the question in November 2023 in San Diego, a place so special to them. Mia and Ira are so proud of their relationship and can't wait for their future!
