3 weeks into our relationship- time to meet the father! Mitch joined us for a weekend of camping in Cannon Falls, MN.

Off on our first getaway to the North Shore. We hiked all over Two Harbors and stayed at Superior Shores.

Laughed all the way through the session with my best friend about him potentially proposing. Funny enough, he proposed almost exactly a year later on 10.27.23.

Left 2022 together and welcomed 2023. We spent this NYE at the Ice Castles in Delano, MN.

We both love to gamble, so we headed to Las Vegas for a long weekend. Our first plane trip! In the next few months we started to get serious about what type of future we wanted together.

We went to go look at a "maybe" house during a dry real estate market and found our gem! Our fixer upper home has made drastic improvements since then.

Right away we remodeled our entire kitchen. We did all the work ourselves while working full time- it took us 2.5 months! We refinished the cabinetry, did new appliances, plumbed in a farm house sink and finished butcher block countertops. Someone told us if we could make it through a DIY kitchen remodel together, then we could make it through anything. It was my dad, and I believe him! Ha

We celebrated a lot of love in the summer of 2023.

Micaela threw Mitch a surprise 30th birthday party, which unfortunately didn't stay a surprise as the cupcakes in the back seat slid into Mitch's eyesight- ugh!

ENGAGED!! We headed up for a weekend away before it got too cold to do so. 30 degrees didn't stop Mitch from getting down on one knee in Grand Portage, MN.

We spent December spending some much needed and blessed time with family and friends. Onto wedding planning season this January!

This was the day we found out Micaela had gotten into CRNA school. We went out to celebrate and ponder all of the blessings coming our way!
